July 10-14, I was back in Boston for the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference. This gave me the opportunity to check with manufacturers of Tablet PCs and other items of interest to see what's new and exciting in the Origami/Ultra-Mobile and other write PCs' world.

The previous week I attended Gnomedex in Seattle.  While I was there, I spent a couple of days on the Microsoft Redmond campus.  I had the privilege of speaking with Dean Hachamovitch, General Manager for Internet Explorer, just an hour after the announcement of the release of IE7 Beta3.  You can see the full interview on The Hive as well.  Dean answered a lot of questions for me and I hope I asked those that you'll be interested in reading.

Later that day, I spent some time with Paul Donnelly.  For anyone who may not know, Paul pretty much runs the Windows Vista beta.  I'll have some Q&A posted as soon as finalized.  Paul gave me a lot of time and I learned a lot, as I always do when I spend time with Paul. Stay tuned!
